The Story Behind
WC Plumbing

WC Plumbing and Renovations Ltd began with Jack and Andy - two experienced plumbers who started working together in 2022.

Back then, they were both sole traders, teaming up to help each other out on bigger jobs. Their shared work ethic and skillset made a great match, and in 2024, they officially joined forces to launch a company focused on plumbing and bathroom renovations.

As the business grew, so did their network of reliable trades. WC now manages larger domestic and commercial renovation projects with the same aim on every job: high-quality work, clear communication and a smooth experience from planning to completion.

How we help

Practical plumbing and renovation support from first call to final finish

Every project starts with understanding the property, the problem and the standard of finish the customer wants. Some jobs are simple plumbing repairs; others need careful planning across plumbing, tiling, flooring, electrics, decoration and access. WC Plumbing & Renovations keeps that process clear, so homeowners and property managers know what is happening, who is on site and what the next step will be.

Plumbing repairs, upgrades and installations

The team handles everyday plumbing jobs as well as larger installation work. That can include changing taps, replacing leaking fittings, moving pipework, installing radiators, improving water supplies, fitting unvented cylinders and preparing plumbing for a room that is being fully renovated. The aim is to leave pipework tidy, accessible where practical and suitable for the way the room will be used.

Where a repair points to a wider issue, the team will explain the practical options before extra work is agreed. That might mean replacing a worn fitting, improving access for future maintenance, adjusting pipe routes during a refit or planning a more complete upgrade when repeated repairs would not be a sensible long-term answer.

Bathroom renovation planning and delivery

Bathroom work can involve strip-out, first-fix plumbing, shower areas, baths, basins, toilets, towel radiators, waterproofing, tiling, flooring and final fitting. WC Plumbing & Renovations can help customers think through the layout before the job starts, including access, storage, ventilation, heating, drainage, finishes and the order in which the work needs to happen.

For shower rooms and wet-rooms, early planning is especially important. Falls, waterproofing, tray positions, screen sizes, valve access and floor finishes all affect the finished room. Thinking about those details at the start helps avoid awkward compromises later and supports a bathroom that looks good, drains properly and stands up to daily use.

Kitchen, utility and appliance plumbing

Kitchen and utility work often needs accurate coordination because sinks, taps, waste runs, appliances, flooring and cabinetry all meet in one place. The team can support kitchen plumbing, sink and tap installation, outside taps, appliance connections and the wider practical work needed when a room is being updated, repaired or brought into a new layout.

When kitchen work is part of a wider refurbishment, plumbing decisions need to line up with the units, worktops, flooring and appliances being fitted. Clear sequencing reduces delays, protects finished surfaces and helps the final installation feel intentional rather than patched around late changes.

Full property refits and managed renovation work

Larger projects need more than isolated trade visits. WC Plumbing & Renovations can coordinate reliable trades for property refits, HMO improvements, garage conversions and wider home renovation work. That includes planning the order of works, keeping communication straightforward, protecting finished areas and making sure the practical details are completed before handover.

On occupied homes and managed properties, the team can phase work around access, safety and essential services where the project allows. That matters on refits because plumbing, bathrooms, kitchens, doors, floors and decorating often depend on each other, and a clear order of work helps prevent disruption from spreading across the whole property.

Project approach

What customers can expect on larger renovation work

A good renovation depends on the early decisions that are easy to miss: how water and waste routes will run, where access will be needed, how heating and ventilation fit the room, what finishes need protecting and which trades need to follow each other. WC Plumbing & Renovations looks at those details before the visible finishing stage, because that is what keeps the job moving cleanly once materials and trades are on site.

On full bathrooms, wet-rooms, kitchens and refits, the team can manage the practical sequence from strip-out and preparation through first fix, tiling, flooring, second fix and final checks. Customers get clear communication on timing and scope, and the work is planned around a finish that is durable, serviceable and suitable for daily use.

That approach is useful for smaller projects too. A tap change, radiator move or shower repair can still affect tiles, flooring, walls, cabinets or future access. Treating those details carefully helps avoid avoidable damage and gives the customer a better result than simply fixing the most visible part of the problem.

If you are comparing trades for a job in or around these towns, it helps to describe the property type, the age of the existing room or plumbing, parking or access constraints and whether the work needs to be fitted around tenants, family life or other trades. Those details make the first conversation more useful and help the team give practical advice from the start.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Call, email or send the website form with a short description of the work, and the team will arrange the next step.

What plumbing work do you handle?

The team handles tap changes, general repairs, heating systems, unvented cylinders, underfloor heating and full-house plumbing work.

Can you manage a full bathroom renovation?

Yes. Bathroom projects can include planning, strip-out, first-fix plumbing, tiling, flooring, installation and final finishing.

Do you work on kitchens and wider renovations?

Yes. WC Plumbing & Renovations can support kitchen installation, garage conversions, full property refits and larger domestic or commercial renovation projects.

What should I include when asking for a quote?

A short description of the work, the property location, a few photos and any timing requirements are usually enough to start the conversation. For bathroom, kitchen and renovation enquiries, it also helps to mention whether the layout is staying the same, whether materials have already been chosen and whether other trades are already involved.

Can you help before I have chosen all materials?

Yes. Many customers make contact before every product has been selected. The team can talk through practical choices such as shower positions, bath sizes, basin styles, towel radiator placement, flooring, tile layout, access panels and the plumbing implications of moving fixtures around the room.

Do you work with homeowners and landlords?

Yes. WC Plumbing & Renovations works with homeowners, landlords and property managers. Smaller repair jobs, bathrooms, kitchens, HMOs, rental property improvements and larger refits can all be discussed, with the scope agreed before work begins so expectations are clear.

How do you keep disruption under control?

Renovation work can be disruptive, especially in occupied homes. The team plans the order of work, protects finished areas where practical, keeps tools and materials organised and communicates what is happening next. The goal is a tidy, professional site and a smooth route from preparation to final handover.

Can you quote from photos alone?

Photos are useful for understanding the starting point, but some jobs still need a visit before an accurate quote can be confirmed. Pipe routes, access, wall and floor construction, water pressure, drainage, ventilation and existing hidden issues can all affect the scope. The team will use the first conversation to decide whether photos are enough or whether a site visit is the better next step.

How do you keep quotes and scope clear?

The team will usually separate the known work from anything that depends on what is found once a room is opened up. That is important on older properties, rented homes and renovation projects where existing pipework, floors, walls or previous repairs may affect the final scope. Clear notes at the start help customers understand what is included, what may need a further decision and how changes will be discussed before extra work goes ahead.

What happens after the work is finished?

Before handover, the team checks the practical details of the installation and leaves the customer with a clear view of what has been completed. On bathrooms, kitchens and renovation work, that can include checking fittings, final finishes, access points, water flow, waste connections and any simple care advice that will help keep the finished room working as intended.

Can you work around daily life in the property?

Yes, where the project allows. For occupied homes, the team will talk through access, parking, water shut-offs, working areas, dust control and the rooms that need to stay usable. The aim is to minimise disruption while still doing the work properly. On larger refits, it may be sensible to agree phases so essential services, neighbouring rooms and finished areas are protected as much as practical.

Which nearby towns do you commonly cover?

Common service areas include Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead, Uckfield, Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint and surrounding Sussex locations. If the job is slightly outside those areas, customers can still get in touch and the team will confirm whether it can be covered.
